The Award for Excellence in Economic Journalism and the Clark Mollenhoff Award for Investigative Reporting are open to both reporters and analysts. The judges seek to reward writing that features outstanding original reporting and fact-finding married to superior analysis.
Each award carries a cash prize of $10,000 and a bronze eagle trophy and will be presented in conjunction with the 2009 Summer Institute on Political Journalism in Washington, D.C.
